KO & PZ are getting married! A house, a dog (with 3 legs), a cat (rip Marley), living in a basement in Waltham (thank you Courtney, Michael, Emma & Abigail), living in a 300 square foot studio, kidney stones, putting together Ikea furniture, storage spaces, Jamaica, Alaska, DC, Vermont, Maine, Plum Island, car accidents, meeting each other's families, switching phone plans, Mass Moca, porches, sprained ankles, sunrises, being seperated by the Atlantic, late night choclate eating and nightmares, sewing on the back porch, leaving little notes and nicknames galore...these are just some memories that come to mind over the past years together. We are ready to take the next step and we can't think of anything we'd rather than to share it with our close family and friends. We have planned a relaxing weekend so that we can be together.
There is a reason we are wanting to have this as a weekend event-I think it is because we both love and value our family and friends and want to have time where we are not in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and get to be with each other. We have said it is about us, and maybe in the planning stages it is, but as an overall weekend, it is to celebrate our lives together-for us, as well as those who make our lives that much better. It is rare that we can all get away and spend time together with loved ones-those we see often and not so often-and celebrate life and happiness and togetherness. It is a simple concept, but it doesn't happen on a daily basis. As simple as saying 'I love you,' 'I care about you,' I value you,' all simple things, but not said enough.

This is a little comic Pete made of our first date!
