OK, so we would absolutely love for everyone to stay at Gedney Farm and Mepal Manor, but it's just not big enough...so, we've started to look into other accomodations around town that we think are suitable. Some of them have even been nice enough to block out some rooms for us. Below are some places to stay, with a phone number and a link to see what they look like.
*Gedney Farm: This is where everything is going down on the big day! 16 rooms which are all reserved for us. gedney farm
*Mepal Manor: If Gedney Farm had a brother or sister, I guess this would be it. We also have all 12 rooms here reserved. mepal manor
*Red Lion Inn: This Inn is located in Stockbridge, MA and is about a 20-25 minute drive from Gedney. It's located right in downtown Stockbridge, which is quaint and cute. They've blocked out some rooms for us, so if you plan on staying with us, just mention our name and the wedding date. They are willing to do a two night package (Saturday & Sunday) or just one night (Sunday). red lion inn
*Comfort Inn: This inn is located in Great Barrington, MA and is about 15 minutes from Gedney Farm. We have rooms blocked here for our guests until March 28, 2011. After that they are fair game to the general public and no longer at a discounted rate. They are offering two night stays as a minimum. comfort inn
*Renting a house for the weekend may be a great and economical idea for a group of friends. Here are some houses that are approximately 5-20 minutes away from Gedney.
